BBDHAKA / The Garment Care Guide

Care for your
favourite pieces.

Good care keeps your clothes looking sharp for longer. Follow these simple washing, drying and ironing tips to help preserve colour, shape and fabric quality.

01

Choose a Cold Wash

When using a washing machine, select the cold-wash setting to help protect the fabric and its colour.

02

Avoid Harsh Sunlight

Avoid drying clothes under intense, direct sunlight for long periods, as it may cause colour fading.

03

Separate Light & Dark

Wash dark-coloured garments separately from light-coloured garments to help prevent colour transfer.

04

Use Gentle Detergent

Avoid bleach and detergents containing harsh chemicals that may damage the fabric or its colour.

05

Use Normal Tap Water

Avoid soaking garments in hot water. Use normal-temperature tap water when washing your clothes.

06

Keep Soaking Brief

Do not leave garments soaking in detergent water for more than 10–15 minutes.

07

Wash Gently

Do not scrub clothes too hard or use a stiff brush, as this can damage the fibres and finish.

08

Do Not Wring Tightly

Remove excess water by pressing the garment gently instead of twisting or wringing it.

09

Turn Inside Out to Dry

Before drying outdoors, turn the garment inside out so the inner side faces the sunlight.

10

Finish with Steam Ironing

Steam-iron your garment before wearing it. Always follow the garment's care label and use a suitable heat setting.

A little care goes a long way. Always check the garment's care label before washing or ironing. These simple steps can help your BBDHAKA pieces stay fresh, neat and ready to wear.
